Who doesn't want to be S.M.A.R.T these days! WIB held a signature workshop on goal setting because you can do this anytime not just for New Years! Worksheets were created and prioritized to give members an idea of long term and short term goals that they can work to pursue their dreams. No goal is too big or too small for WIB and if anyone is interested in any of the materials or advice please reach out to our Motivation specialist and VP Liz Kelly!
Every year TCNJ hosts a Women's Leadership Summit to empower women of all backgrounds and fields in Business. Last year's speaker was Tiffany Dufu, who is an acclaimed author of "Drop the Ball". Working with the likes of Sheryl Sandberg and Gloria Steinem, Tiffany is an expert of balancing various roles and having fulfilling relationships. When she isn't busy being a CLO at Levo League, she travels the country talking to women everywhere about making gender equality much more possible today.
What has WIB been up to..?
The College of New Jersey''s School of Business works hard to give learning opportunities to their students within and outside of the classroom. Women in Business was happy to help with this goal by participating in community service events, co-sponsoring other student's club's events, and even bringing in some speakers to share what they have experienced in the business world about gender equality.

No matter what year you're in at TCNJ a good resume will always open doors. Freshmen and Sophomore's will learn to leverage their High School and early WIB experiences to land great internships. Juniors and Seniors will learn how to highlight key aspects of their coursework and previous job history to land that full-time position. Joann was candid about her experiences at the journal and she actively reflected with Women in Business on how her struggles made her the woman she is today. Whether traveling across the country, interviewing dozens of female CEO's, or writing about gender equality in the WSJ she is a serious advocate of change in the business world. Her visit to TCNJ filled up the library auditorium and gave everyone in the audience a chance to explore her book too! This novel is definitely on the WIB Reading list so if you have a chance pick up a copy of "Earning It: Hard Won Lessons from trailblazing women at the top of the Business world."
